Against Chris's wishes I updated my resume this morning. I am hopefully going to submit to a couple companies here in town. It's a long shot, because only one place in town does what I do and I've already worked for them, and I have no desire to go back. I don't know if I'll actually take a job, but the dual income household thing would help pay for fertility treatments.

I've toyed with the idea of teaching. I've decided that if I'm gonna work full time, then I want to get paid what I'm worth. Not that teaching is worthless, but my earning power as a scientist is a whole lot more. I'd like to point out that I think it's ridiculous that teachers get paid so little. I'm not dissing teaching, in fact I'd probably like it.

Now I need to convince Chris to proof read my resume for me. Chris insists we are doing fine and it would be pointless for me to get a job again. He has some valid points, but I've been feeling kinda worthless lately. Like I need to contribute more or something. That and I'd like to use my brain again.

Anybody need a published Polymer Chemist with 7 years of experience? Oh and I need a job where I'm not exposed to toxic chemicals. This is gonna be a fun job search :)
